Although this is a symbol of unity for the members that wear them,
there is another reason behind it. In December of 2007, the members,
staff and administration of Emanon began participating in an
organization called "Soldiers Angels". Through this magnificent
experience, Emanon has adopted a soldier serving in Iraq sending
him letters, care packages and color guard videos.
He has become a very special member the Emanon Family and with
their dog tags they bring every member of their family on the floor
with them for each performance. The Penny they each wear has an
angel carved out for him.
He also has the blue dog
tag with his name on it and the penny angel
